EXQUISITELY HANDCRAFTED WEDDING ALBUMS & PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTABLES

Cardwell and Ink is a family run local Design, Illustration and Album making company in Newcastle Australia.

All our Albums are handmade and tailored to make each client something personal and beautiful that will be a keepsake for generations to come.

The entire process is completed in-house, from printing the images to building the pages to constructing the cover, each step is a labour of love and quality tested to ensure nothing but the best is produced each time.

CONSTRUCTION

As the name implies the pages ‘lay flat’ to highlight all of your images. This style of album beautifully accentuates full page spreads.
Each page is 1 mm thick and the photos are printed on 255 gsm Lustre paper, which offers a blend of quality and practicality. This paper recreates vibrant colours with rich contrast and has a similar texture to traditional photographic paper.

All albums come with 20 pages included. Additional pages (up to a maximum of 20 more) attract an additional cost per page.

ALBUM SIZES

We have a range of sizes for all requirements. Whether it is your main wedding album that showcases your beautiful photos or a smaller scale album that could be used as a travel book or a gift of family photos for your family.

The sizes indicated below are based on a closed album, so you could potentially have a photo 30 x 80 cm when it spans a double spread.

COVER MATERIALS

Our Albums are created using only the highest quality fabrics and faux leathers. Designed especially for book binding.

Album Cover Design Styles

Material Cover

The entire hardcover is sealed by the material of your choice.

Full photo Cover

Highlight your favourite photo! The chosen photo for the cover is printed on vinyl paper and laminated. It is then wrapped around the edges of the cover and the back and spine are covered in the material of your choice. You also have the option of having a photo for the front and the different one for the back. These photos can easily be edited to include elegant typography of information from your wedding.

Acrylic Cover

Combines your cover image, printed on a high-quality gloss photo paper and then sealed behind a 4 mm thick acrylic cover. Together they provide a stunning album presentation.

Photo window Cover

A photo of your choice is placed behind a frame cut from hardcover. The photo is laminated for protection and sealed with the material of your choice.
